Vía Augusta at Riera de Cassoles, in Barcelona. It's the way I go when I'm heading to the barber's, a little further up the same Vía Augusta, and after walking past it so often, the building on this corner stopped being just part of the scenery. One day I took out my phone and snapped a quick photo to keep the light and the perspective, and back home, taking my time, I put it into my sketchbook in watercolour. Then I went back to the street with the finished drawing to hold it up in front of the real building, which is the part I like most.

A print for anyone who has their own corner of Barcelona and wants to see it at home too.
