The old bridge of Besalú, in La Garrotxa, crossing the Fluvià river. The stone arches rest on the rocks of the riverbed and, behind them, the medieval village huddles with its tower against the green mountains. In front, the scrubby bank and the still water, with ink splashes everywhere.

It's a place I've been back to several times, and you always go in the same way: over the bridge. A print of stone and river for an entrance hall, a living room or the wall of anyone who has also crossed that bridge at some point.

Hang it where it won't get direct sunlight and keep it away from heat and humidity. According to the laboratory that prints it, a giclée print like this lasts about 80 years when exposed to daylight and up to 200 years stored in the dark, if properly cared for.
